Fight the good fight

If you set your heart to be a messenger of light to set your family, town, city, or nation free. You should not find it strange when all hell turns up on your door step to stop you. Elijah had Jezebel determined to take his life, Elisha had the King of Syria send an army to place him under siege. Daniel wound up in a lions den, his three friends wound up in the the furnace, king David was forced to live in a cave with a whole army trying to take his life. The Apostle Paul had this to say concerning his life as a dedicated Christian in his address to his critics in 2 Corinthians 11:23-28…

I am more: in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fasting often, in cold and nakedness— besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches.

Is someone telling lies about you, or is no one is supporting your ministry, is your family attacking you for no reason, are your fighting a terrible sickness, or is someone picking on you at work for no reason. Get a grip! Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but The Lord will deliver you out of them all. Just as He did for David, Elijah, Daniel and his friends, and the Apostle Paul. And like them if you do not grow weary and give up, in due time you will receive the reward.
