Confrontation: The Key to Revival

There has been a constant flow of heartfelt prayer flowing into the heavens for true revival. This flow of prayer has formed into spiritual clouds that contain the latter rain. These clouds represent the last great move of God before the return of Jesus for His bride. The only way to seed these spiritual clouds to release the latter rain upon the earth is to preach true repentance! This was the key Peter used on the day of Pentecost to release the former rain, as found in Acts 3:19 where he says

“repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.”

That key will still work for us today! However, for this message to be preached it will take men and women of great courage. This kind of courage only comes by a genuine infilling of the Holy Spirit, such as Peter received on the day of Pentecost. Why? In order to bring true repentance, you have to deal with such sins as stealing, lying, jealousy, porn, adultery, drunkenness, fornication, and yes even homosexual behaviour and abortion! Most bodies of believers today will not do this. Why? Because they have a fear of rejection and persecution! They have developed a non-confrontational message they call love. However, it is not the same sacrificial love of John 3:16 where God so loved the world that He gave His son, nor the love that caused riots and had the apostles and prophets beaten, jailed, and murdered when they preached the gospel. No, the counterfeit love they have gets all bent out of shape as soon as someone confronts them, tells lies about them, or threatens to not support them. It is not the type of love that lays down its life for the gospel. Brethren, we need a revival of true Holy Ghost preachers, that people will say of them as they said of the preachers of old: “The ones that have turned the world upside down, are coming here to preach as well.” Brethren, they had to turn it upside down to get it right side up. Glory; let the redeemed of The Lord say so!
